Who is it for? Maybe they’re techies who are interested in farm-to-table cat food. Or perhaps they’re stay at home moms with kids aged 2–5 living in apartments and want fun meals to cook with their children.
Along with the “who,” you can start to learn what the stories these people tell themselves. Are they Tim Ferriss-loving, soylent drinking optimizers? Or are they artists in rural Maine who want to take it slow and enjoy the scenery?
There’s no right or wrong here, but you need to know.

Personal update: I’m currently doing some customer discovery around what is missing from the traditional school system. I think there’s a huge opportunity to encourage our students to be more creative and entrepreneurial.
