The fast-paced motions of an early stage organization eventually give way to intentional growth and planning. The skills needed to get off the ground look a lot different from the skills needed to set a long term vision and stay the course.
I’m starting to feel this tension as Dual School grows into a real organization. We have to develop policies and procedures and expectations, few of which existed when it was all just a wild idea.
It’s not natural, but learning happens outside your comfort zone. Time to jump back in and learn some more.
