Yesterday I waited in line for a burrito.
Having recently been a student at University of Delaware, that was not something I was used to doing. I was accustomed to having Qdoba, Chipotle, el Diablo and California Tortilla all within a few blocks of each other. Thus, people all had their preferences and the lines were minimal.
But today I waited in line in Trolley Square. There’s only one burrito place here and it’s el Diablo. I stood in a hot and sweaty queue, but the burrito I got was amazing. The the best I’ve had in a long time.
Is it because the ingredients were better? Or just because it was that much harder to get?
I’m not sure. But I do think there’s something alluring about a line.
