Ideas are only as good as what you end up shipping. Fear doesn’t want you to ship. The closer you get, the more scared you get. Fear doesn’t want you to speak up, to raise your hand or to question authority. It’s threatening. But it’s valuable. Speaking up can focus a group, create new business or even save lives in the case of the Apollo crash. If more people had been willing to speak up, the cold temperatures on the morning of take-off might have been flagged as a more serious problem. Make sure you speak up and get your idea shipped.
