If you don’t share the work, did you make it?
By publishing, seeking feedback and facing the fear, we grow.
This is why school doesn’t feel “real” and we need grades to scare people into trying hard. If you write a bad paper and your teacher reads it, who cares? Other than the teacher, no one will ever see it again.
On the other hand, if you have to create a video and post it on YouTube talking about what you’ve learned in a class, you might put in more effort. You know that your parents, friends, future employers, and more might see it.
Sharing work that is meaningful is the foundation for the most rapid and profound growth. Make it for an audience. Make it public. Share the work.
