When you’re not sure what to do next, you have a couple options. You can think more, do more research and ask for advice. These are all ways to gather more information. The other option is to take a step back so you may see clearer.
Here’s an example:
If you’re aiming at a target, but your sight is blurry, you won’t be able to hit the bullseye. When your sights aren’t clear, would spending more time looking help? Probably not. What you need is to wipe off the glass so that you may see through it again.
There are lots of ways to wipe off the glass. Take a walk. Unplug from technology for a day. Meditate a little. Play a game with your friends. Reflect on your values.
Take your break, then come back to the problem with a new lens.
