One indicator of a strong culture is the presence of rituals – actions that happen on a repeated or routine basis.
Maybe you start or end your meetings the same way every time. Whenever you meet, everyone has a chance to share a highlight from their personal lives.
Maybe certain actions trigger specific responses every time. Whenever someone shares something, everyone snaps.
These rituals might happen naturally, but they can be designed intentionally. Your rituals will be indicators of your culture. Are your rituals inclusive? Celebratory? Do they reinforce a fixed mindset?
Think about the rituals that already exist in your culture. Decide what to tweak, what to add and what to subtract. Culture isn’t an accident. You can do it on purpose.
