Reverse culture shock is typically the shock that you experience when returning to your home country after a long time away. In this case, I feel it when I leave my tribe of change-makers.
I felt it after leaving the University Innovations Fellows meet up and after Seth Godin’s Tribal Gathering. I always get so excited to be around people who want to make their world a little more inspired. Then, I come home, still excited. But the feeling quickly fades as I regress back to the mean.
