There was a popular article I saw on LinkedIn about basketball great, Ray Allen. It was a letter to his younger self. Embedded in the powerful reflection on growing up, there was a quote that stood out to me:
“Do you want to fit in, or do you want to embark on the lonely pursuit of greatness?”
It’s the decision we’re all faced with every single day.
I’m writing my book to help those who have chosen the difficult, but lonely path. Not because you want to vanity of success. Because you’re generous and willing to put in the work.
It’s no longer a solo pursuit, because all of us here are in it together.
