Most unhappiness comes from two things: being hungry or tired. Whenever I’m feeling frustrated or overwhelmed, one of these factors is always a big part of the equation.
When I don’t get enough sleep, I’m less patient, caring and attentive. It’s still possible to be happy and have a great day, but I find that I’m much less resilient.
When I haven’t eaten in a while, the same things happen. If you’re not in the best mood, look to these things first.
Most unhappiness is not caused by external circumstances, it’s caused by how we react to it. Get more sleep and eat better and you’ll be ready to take on anything.
