People become unhappy when they have incompatible goals. If you want to get Venture Capital for your startup, that goal might not be compatible with having work life balance. If you want to be CEO of a public company, that goal might not be compatible for being there to see your kids’ soccer games.
I’m not here to say which are more desirable than others, but some goals don’t play as well with others. Are your goals in alingment?
