Today, in the mens bathroom I was amazed at the inaction of the general public. Someone washed his hands, dried his hands all the while standing right in front of a running faucet. He proceeded to throw away his paper towel and leave without touching the running faucet. So I turned it off.
Was this so hard? Was this risky? Was this the right thing to do?
Doing the right thing isn’t always easy, but it’s admirable. You’ll never be able to do the big things right unless you start on a small scale. Turn off a faucet, hold a door, throw away your trash. Do the little things.
