Why is it such a binary decision?
You can always wait, and go to college later, but it’s tough to attend something like college.
You can go to community college, or take classes part time, but there is stigma, and difficulty associated with such a path. And at the end of the day, where would you end up if you took one semester of classes?
It feels like there’s a major opportunity for micro classes. 10 hour courses with a community of people, for a small cost. Or micro communities, that simulate the experience of college and the connections built from it.
We need more options that exist between the spectrum of college and no college. We need way more options. There is no, singular, correct path. The only answer is a plurality of potential parts.
