Your creativity wants to break free from rational thought, fear of failure and ego. But we’ve taught it to stop. We’ve slowly trained our creative thoughts to be “more realistic” to the point where we can’t come up with anything new.
Creativity is a natural state, but we learn to fight it. We learn that if we listen and obey more, then we will get a better grade, a better job. We don’t realize that these jobs are disappearing, and that they aren’t actually great.
Becoming more creative doesn’t mean you have to become a new person. You simply have to rediscover what you’ve suppressed for all these years.
