Thinking Big

In the 70s When Walt Disney had this crazy idea to make a theme park. He knew it had to be amazing, so he set a high bar.

When he and the team would brainstorm new ideas for rides he said, “You can’t bring in anything that even closely resembles something we’ve seen before.”

People had to come up with big ideas. They weren’t sure if they could even make them work, but they knew they were different. Now, 45 years after Disney Parks founding, it’s obvious that they found a way to make it work.

Are you taking the paved road to a well-travelled, but mediocre destination? Or are you setting a lofty goal and getting creative to achieve it?
