Whenever you’re doing something new, you won’t be able to get any reassurance.

No one can tell you that you’re on the right track, because there is no track. You’re making the track and we can’t see it until you’ve built it.

When  Matt Criscuolo and I ran Skip the Small Talk: A Networking Event for Introverts last week, we had no idea if it was going to work. That was scary. People could have hated it. But, that uncertainty also made it fun. That uncertainty also made it meaningful.

Stop searching for reassurance, and start embracing the unknown. Very few people are willing to take that risk. That’s why we need you to stand up and make a difference.
